2 young men strike a pose alongside the Flat Iron Tree that is located in Southern Humboldt county along Bull Creek Flat. I was there when it fell one rainy day. My friend and i went there to photograph it was got interrupted by a park ranger and while we were chatting it fell and made the most incredible sound i have ever heard to this day. It knocked down several old growth redwoods on its way down. Ironically we were going to shoot on the side that it fell on.
