Seth Kinman was a famous Mountainman from Humboldt county known for his Elk Horn chairs he built for several Presidents.His chairs were so intricate that he devised a lever ; that when activated a Grizzly bear head would slide out from under the chair snapping its jaws. Seth was also a Hunter and Trapper who sold Elk Meat to the troops at Fort Humboldt and was known to play a banjo made from the skull of his favorite mule.
